Blessings is a collection about my grandparents, Paul and Paula Seligsohn, who perished in the Holocaust, and their daughter, my mother Inge, who escaped and then served in the British forces. As a family we have translated all the letters sent to Inge during the war, mainly from Germany and Holland. In 2021 we witnessed the laying of Stolpersteine in memory of Paul and Paula. I am currently (to December 2021) working on a play based on the letters.
On Democracy collects material on my case for the Christian roots of liberal democracy, found in the Anabaptist tradition mediated through the career of the extraordinary Roger Williams and the foundation of the English Baptists.
The Religious Right brings together my material on an alternative modern political movement. What is the Religious Right, what does it think and do, and why do a disagree with it?
On the housing question brings together my work on housing, particularly my argument that increased housebuilding alone will not solve the UK housing crisis.
